Better Baseball has been providing baseball tournaments in Utah for the last 4 years. We saw a need to try and make the competition as even as possible and limit the amount of competition between “A” level teams and “AAA” or “Majors” level teams and vice-a-versa. Recently we’ve seen a need to reclassify teams and USSSA is the best option for this.
Team classifications are based on power ratings, tournament results and by overall team performance on the field.
If you are new to USSSA the Manager has the ability to select his own classification for the first tournament but is subject to change with the results of the tournament and State Director review. USSSA CLASSIFICATIONS

Absolutely! We encourage the playing of baseball and if a guest player is going to make that possible we are all for it. We do have some guidelines / rules to help with managing guest players.
